Who Is Behind the Times News?

Behind the Times is a collection of bloggers, writers and archivists. We’re a small community, made up of different backgrounds, cultures and experiences.

At the heart of the Behind the Times is Jacqueline Diaz, a lifelong lover of history, invested in telling stories and archiving the past. Although she runs the show, she has been known to run solo and partner with other writers and news organizations to get the scoop and spread her discoveries.

What Does the Times News Do?

Our goal is to be an informative and entertaining platform where we talk about the news of yesterday, today, and beyond.

We want to bring the past to life, the knowledge of different traditions, and stories of the remarkable people that have paved the way for us.

We Cannot Predict the Future, But We Can Learn From the Past

We are continually covering events from what happened last week to what professionals theorize may have occurred 10 billion years ago.
